One day all carrier bags will look like the Bikezac

Bikezac

Forget about hanging disposable plastic bags precariously from your handlebars. Bikezac bags are designed to be simple and stylish. No logo. Just a simple design that folds like a newspaper and attaches to your bike’s rack with a clever click-and-go system. A shopping bag and cycle pannier rolled into one.

Best of all, the bag, handles and thread is all made from 100% recycled polypropylene rice sacks.

This would have been ideal on our recent 400 mile ride. Finding somewhere to temporarily store food stocks wasn’t easy with already fully packed bar and tail bags.

These would get a lot of use by me, not only for shopping but I have to carry my work clothes and waterproofs with me on my commute (I have one pannier but often is a bit of a squeeze to fit everything in including my laptop).
So a very welcome prize indeed!

This could be an absolute game changer for me, I have had a bad fall where the precarious shopping bag hanging on my handlebars got caught in the wheels and sent me flying over the bars and my shopping all over the road.

My current pannier is not easily removed from my bike; This seems a very practical solution for when you don’t want to leave contents vulnerable to theft on the bike.
