Handlebar clock change this weekend
October 25, 2024
Whether you are celebrating, or commiserating, about the end of British Summer Time this weekend, how about a stylish bicycle handlebar clock to mark the occasion?
The ubiquity of smartphones has seen the need for watches wane, but forget digital - there’s something pleasing about pairing an analogue timepiece with a bicycle.
We have a waterproof handlebar clock to give away in one of four standard handlebar sizes: 7/8" (22.22mm), 1" (25.4mm), 1 1/8" (28.5mm) & 1 1/4" (31.75mm)
How can I tell the size of my bicycle handlebars?
The most common handlebar sizes for most bicycles is 7/8" or 1 1/4"; however just to make sure, you can measure the circumference of the bar at a straight section using either a piece of string, paper or a tape measure.
A one-inch bar will measure 3 1/8" (79.37mm), a 7/8" bar will measure 2 3/4" (69.85mm) and a custom fat bar (usually 1 1/4") will measure 3 7/8" (98.42mm) in circumference.
