Petals for your pedals: A bicycle planter
April 14, 2016
If you don’t take your cycling too seriously and want to celebrate the arrival of summer in style, why not festoon your bike with living plants?
The colourful bike planters are 3D printed, so not only will you be showing off your love of nature, but cutting edge technology.
The planter attaches to your bike with a elastic nylon cord, and fits snugly to most tube sizes. All you have to do is supply your own plant. According to its designer and maker, Colleen Jordan, the planter works best with a clipping from a succulent that has been allowed to take root or a large air plant.
The planters are available in a variety of shapes and colours via Etsy and prices starts at around £20.
