Protesters dump horse manure at Jeremy Clarkson's home
September 18, 2009
A group of protesters have dumped horse manure on Jeremy Clarkson’s driveway as part of their campaign against vehicle emissions.
Seven Climate Rush activists did so while dressed as suffragettes and carrying a banner, saying "This is what you’re landing us in".
The group said that, by dumping the manure at the Top Gear presenter’s Oxfordshire home, they were taking the same blasé attitude that he takes regarding vehicle emissions.
Police were called to the scene of the incident yesterday (September 18th) morning, however, it is understood that no arrests were made.
Tamsin Omond, a spokesperson for the group, said that while she loves Mr Clarkson and Top Gear, she has discovered things which "terrify" her.
She commented: "I learnt that climate change will make my future unrecognisable. I know I’ll not have the same choices that Jeremy has now."
