Sahmurai Sword: Tubeless bicycle puncture repair
March 19, 2015
Tubeless bicycle tyres promise fewer punctures and improved handling, but repairing a flat at the roadside is not altogether straightforward.
The Sahmurai Sword (named after creator Stefan ‘Sahmurai’ Sahm) is an easy-to-use, simple-to-store and safe way of carrying a tubeless plug system on your bike. Built into what are essentially bar-plugs, the system allows you to store both the plug and reamer tool inside your handlebars.

One plug holds a tool to open up the puncture, the other a fork to push the repair through the hole. The bicycle puncture repair kit currently sells in South Africa for R350 (£20).
