The fourth emergency service is...your local bike courier
April 20, 2015
In a world where Facebook is a major publisher, but doesn't write a word, and Uber is a huge cab company that doesn't own a single taxi, it’s no surprise that the latest cycle breakdown provider has no recovery lorries. More unusual is that Kerbi relies on bicycle couriers to carry out its roadside repairs.

The Kerbi app allows a stranded cyclist to hail the nearest bike messengers, who respond directly to the call with a quote. The cyclist can then choose who they would like to come and help them. Once the repair has been made, secure payment is made via the app. www.kerbi.uk
