The world's smallest electric car
August 21, 2015
The smallest electric car in the world is the Walk Car - a vehicle so diminutive in size, you can carry it in a handbag.
The walk car is the size and weight of an old-fashioned laptop. While prospective buyers of the Nissan Leaf or BMW i3 might suffer from range anxiety, users of the Walk Car can simply pop it in a carrier bag when it runs out of battery. The tiny battery powered platform will be available to buy this autumn from cocoamotors.com

Who would use the Walk Car?
It's easy to dismiss the Walk Car as a toy aimed at those too lazy to walk, but it's designers claim that it is powerful enough for many practical applications. A teaser film of the Walk Car in action shows it being used to help push a wheel chair. And as cities of the future restrict the use of cars, those unwilling or unable to cycle may turn to a new generation of small vehicle such as the Walk Car.
