Pressure washers have become the go-to tool for tackling tough cleaning jobs, but their power and setup can sometimes work against them. If you’ve ever struggled with a bulky machine, fought with a kinked garden hose, or cursed the lack of an outdoor tap, you’ll know what we mean.

Enter the cordless pressure washer – a smaller, quieter, and surprisingly versatile alternative that’s changing the game for cyclists, mobility scooter users, motorcyclists, and car owners alike. While they might not pack the same punch as a full-blown corded jet washer, cordless models make cleaning your vehicle so quick and easy there’s no excuse to not remove mud, road grime and salt after every ride.

It’s quiet compared to its corded cousins so no more noisy interruptions for your neighbours

The Titan cordless pressure washer costs around the same as the popular Karcher K2 Home 1400W. It might only produce about a fifth of the water pressure – but don’t let that fool you. What it lacks in brute force, it more than makes up for in useful features.

Unlike traditional pressure washers, there’s no need to connect to a mains water supply. Instead, you can draw water from almost any source: a bucket or watering can. The washer’s 6-metre hose includes a built-in filter to protect the pump from debris, so you could even draw from a water butt.

When we put the Titan cordless pressure washer to the test, we used it on a caked in mud. The washer made short work of it, even tricky areas like the axles and between spokes.

The results were impressive, and it wasn’t just about cleaning power. Two buckets of water didn't make a dent in the 5Ah battery’s charge as the manufacturer claims a 45-minute run time.

Cordless pressure washers aren’t here to replace traditional jet washers for heavy-duty tasks like cleaning a patio. But for smaller, more precise jobs – think bikes, mobility scooters, motorbikes, and even cars – they’re a revelation. The reduced pressure is actually a benefit in these scenarios, as it’s less likely to damage delicate components, strip away protective coatings or force water into bearings.
