Forget road muck machismo, try mudguards

Bicycle on rain soaked road in London

Does anybody know why so many bicycles in the UK are sold without mudguards?

We find it odd so few have them fitted as standard - especially given how the penalty for going without at this time of year is a damp and gritty streak up your back.

Quickguard mudguards

Quickguard mudguards use a polycarbonate blade and weather-proof aluminium anodised single stay to keep you free of road muck. Best of all, they don't rely on your bike being fitted with eyelets.

The design promises fully adjustable, rattle-free full coverage and can be removed in seconds - they don't mount onto the bicycle frame directly, but instead onto the drop out. Quickguard is suitable for all 700c bikes with tyres up to 32c wide.
