As more city dwellers discover the benefits of cargo bikes, folding designs will find a willing market.
After all, cargo bikes might be perfect for narrow streets, but they're tricky to store in smaller houses and flats.
The latest entrant to the folding cargo bike market comes courtesy of Avnson. With a robust frame and a spacious cargo area, the Urbanox can handle shopping, school runs, or lugging work stuff with ease. And when its work is done, it folds small enough to fit onto a train, or squeeze into a car boot.

There's nothing new about the small-wheeled cargo bike. However, recent designs have refined the concept. For example, the Tern GSD may not fold, but it's beautifully conceived. The bike is designed to carry two kids, a week’s worth of groceries or 180 kg of cargo while remaining narrow enough to wheel through a house.
