Mobility scooter insurance holders are being stung with eye-watering renewal prices. Last week we heard from someone who was being asked by a well-known provider to pay £279 for insurance cover for two mobility scooters, not including breakdown cover. They were delighted to hear that we charge only £65 per year to cover a mobility scooter worth up to £3,500 – a price that includes theft, accidental damage, third party, breakdown recovery, lost or broken key replacement and £100 puncture cover.
